About NIRNIK

“Nirnik” meaning pure in Sanskrit is a young interdisciplinary practice that focuses on urban design and landscape architecture. The organization commits to sensitive and contextual design approach that aims for sustainable landscapes and urban spaces with allied infrastructure. Planning and Design Solutions come through collaborative ways that fuses planning with ecology, cultural diversity, socio economic factors and local resources.

With a vision of creating a sustainable environment NIRNIK also provide a platform for associations with enthusiastic professionals and support students who aim to promote similar goals through research, workshops, lectures etc.

Work Ethics

Established in 2012 NIRNIK has been doing significant work both in public and private sector. Working closely with the makers of the project of relevant disciplines we believe in creating proposals that meets and exceeds expectations at all levels of work. The radical approach has helped our clients to have faith in us at all levels of design and execution.

Niriti Porwal

Co- Founder and Prinicipal of NIRNIK, Niriti is committed to environmentally sustainable practices both at design and implementation level. With her specialization in Urban Design from Pratt, New York and varied work experience in India and U.S.A. she awakens each project’s potential in a unique sense that communicates the contemporary with the indigenous in the best possible way. Her interest lies in working on large urban design projects that sees transformation by creating culturally sensitive spaces. Along with her practice Niriti also envisions for a research based approach for design that closely looks at aspects of contextual dynamics as a crucial process of design. Niriti has been associated as Adjunct Professor in College of Architecture, Udaipur.
